Description of Practice:
Cynthia is an associate in our Century City office, where she provides mid-level associate support to the litigation team. She practices general civil litigation, with areas of focus in commercial contract, labor and employment, construction defect, insurance coverage and bad faith, and real estate litigation.
Cynthia has experience with all stages of the litigation process in both State and Federal Court, and has also represented clients in arbitration proceedings.
She was a Summer Law Clerk in 1999 for the United States Department of Labor in San Francisco, where she assisted attorneys in prosecuting federal labor law violations, including ADEA, ERISA, FLSA, and Title VII violations.
Cynthia is a member of various district courts, the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Labor and Employment Section.
Educational History:
Cynthia received her J.D. in 2000 from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honors Program and a Fair Housing Institute Volunteer. She received her B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1997. |
