Ms. Walker leads KGS's internal Enterprise Architecture Program. Ms. Walker is additionally KGS's recognized expert in our enterprise data management solutions and services offering, and in that capacity engages KGS's enterprise data management experts and expertise to establish and institutionalize world-class best-practices in pursuit of the delivery of Data Confidence®. Ms. Walker works in partnership with KGS's Innovation Center (IC), and is responsible for:
Continuously communicating, monitoring, and improving the KGS enterprise data management methodology (repeatable processes, techniques and work aids);
Engaging technology to enable enterprise data management solutions;
Engaging thought leaders and developing certified personnel; and
Communicating the Data Confidence® messages to internal and external audiences.
Throughout her career, Ms. Walker has helped scores of federal agencies successfully address their enterprise data management challenges. Ms. Walker has partnered with KGS and its predecessor, Pinkerton Computer Consultants Incorporated's Government Solutions Division (PCCI GSD), since 1999. Prior to joining KGS, she founded WalkerBurr, a woman-owned consulting firm specializing in enterprise data management services. Prior to that, Ms. Walker spent 15 years of her career with Acton Burnell, where she served as Vice President, managing the delivery of enterprise data management consulting solutions for federal agencies and private sector corporations.
Ms. Walker received her undergraduate degree with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed graduate course work also at UNC-CH, and has completed advanced training in a number of management and data management topics. She is the author of numerous articles and white papers on enterprise data management topics and a frequent speaker and trainer at national and international data management conferences and workshops. |
