Cindy L. Andrews serves as a shareholder and director in the Firm’s Oklahoma City office. A practitioner since 1994, Ms. Andrews brings to Crowe & Dunlevy experience in several areas of law, including employee benefits, trusts and estates, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, taxation, and partnership. A certified public accountant, Ms. Andrews holds several licenses to practice law, including the U.S. District Court (Western District of Oklahoma) and the U.S. Tax Court. Recognized in her field, she is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for tax law, and is a member of both the Oklahoma and American Bar Association. In addition to practice, Ms. Andrews has taught Lobbying by Non-Profit Organizations and Probate seminars for the Oklahoma Bar Association. She has also been an integral part of several of the organizations she has been involved with, as she was the director for both the University of Oklahoma College of Business Alumni Association (1999-2001), as well as the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Oklahoma City (1999-2002). Ms. Andrews’ educational resume is colorful as well. After graduating with special distinction from the University of Oklahoma (B.B.A., 1989), she attended the Oklahoma City University School of Law, where she was a standout student. While there, Ms. Andrews received several awards, including the RIA Publishing Company Award for Excellence in Tax Law and the Phi Delta Phi Berry-Opala Award. A Hatton W. Sumners Scholar, she was also the Editor-in-Chief for the Oklahoma City University Law Review. She graduated Summa Cum Laude (J.D., 1994), where she was the Oklahoma City University Outstanding Graduate Recipient. To complete her already impressive resume, Ms. Andrews’ received her Master of Laws in Taxation from the New York University School of Law in 1996. While there, she was the graduate editor for the New York University Tax Law Review, and was a recipient of both the Harry J. Rudick Memorial Award and the New York University 1996 Tax Society Prize. |
