Cynthia J. Warren became a partner in January of 2003. Her expertise is in the areas of health care law and corporate law. Ms. Warren counsels health care providers in all business maters including formation, employment, contract negotiation, real estate, risk management, and third party payment issues. She provides assistance with all state and federal regulatory matters including those relating to licensure, tax-exemption, HIPAA and fraud and abuse compliance. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Warren was an associate in the Providence office of Brown, Rudnick, Freed & Gesmer and was Associate General Counsel of Lifespan Corporation, the largest health care system in Rhode Island. Before beginning her legal practice, Ms. Warren was an administrator in a number of health care organizations. Ms. Warren is an honors graduate of Syracuse University, where she also received her masters in Public Administration. She received her J.D. cum laude from Boston University in 1992 where she was Executive Editor of the American Journal of Law and Medicine. |
