Curtis Pope was named Executive Vice President of Business Development for SellingSource in 2007. He is responsible for spearheading the Company’s business-development efforts, including identifying potential deals and strategic partnerships. He also oversees the Company’s call center operations to support clients’ direct mail and direct response television (DRTV) programs.
Prior to being named Executive Vice President, Pope served three years as SellingSource’s Vice President of Business Development, in which he leveraged his industry experience and relationship-building skills to implement a number of specialty finance programs for clients of SellingSource and its affiliates companies.
Pope brings more than 20 years experience in the marketing and promotion of specialty finance products including credit cards, short-term loans, auto loans, and credit-reporting services. He joined SellingSource.com in 2005 after an 11-year tenure as General Manager of First American Management, a marketing company with a 600-seat call center operation responsible for securing over seven million credit card accounts.
An industry veteran with extensive knowledge and experience, Pope is recognized for developing some of the first and most successful non-prime credit-card programs for banks that include Merrick Bank, First National Bank of Marin (now Credit One Bank), Bank First, and First Bank of Delaware. |
