Biography
Curtis S. Benson, a 1996 graduate of Lawrenceville High School, graduated with high honors from Wabash Valley College in 1998. He then attended Eastern Illinois University, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting in 2000. He earned his CPA certificate in 2003.
Curt started his career with Kemper CPA Group LLP in 1999 as a college intern and began full-time employment with Kemper CPA Group LLP in June 2000. He was employed with Kemper CPA Group LLP until September 2002, when he accepted a position as a financial analyst with a regional hospital.
In June 2004, Curt returned to Kemper CPA Group LLP as a senior accountant. Since then, he has primarily provided auditing and accounting services to governmental and not-for-profit organizations, healthcare providers, grain dealers, natural gas distribution companies, and other various small business enterprises. Curt has also gained extensive knowledge concerning the taxation of corporations, partnerships, and sole-proprietorships.
