BACKGROUND: Cristina was born in San Paulo, Brazil and was raised in Miami, Florida. Cristina is fluent in Spanish. Cristina attended law school at the University of Miami. While attending the University of Miami, Cristina clerked for the National Labor Relations Board. Shortly after receiving her degree in law, she moved to Orlando, Florida, where she worked as a labor and employment associate with Moran & Shams, P.A., for approximately four years. Cristina joined GrayRobinson in March 2002. EXPERIENCE: Cristina's background and experience is in labor and employment. Cristina represents employers in connection with all employment related matter including, but not limited to discrimination, Family Medical Leave Act, wage and hour, Americans With Disabilities Act, Worker's Compensation Retaliation and Covenants not to Compete. In addition, Cristina assists employers in drafting of manuals and employment related policies. Cristina also advises employers and management on day to day employment issues.
