Since launching his career in technology with IBM in 1968, Mr. Ramsey has helped three pre-public startups grow to over a billion dollars in revenue, and most recently has served on the board of Salesforce.com as it has grown to nearly a $400 million run rate within two years of the IPO. Earlier, Mr. Ramsey served as executive vice president of worldwide sales for Siebel Systems, where he oversaw the company's sales growth from $4 million in revenues to more than $1.5 billion. Prior to Siebel, Mr. Ramsey was vice president of U. S. sales at Oracle Corporation. He previously held positions at Amdahl and other high-technology software and hardware companies. |
