Craig Pace

Craig Pace is an affiliated Senior Consultant in the Distribution and Logistics Practice of Astute Diligence.

Prior to joining Astute Diligence as an affiliated consultant, Craig served as Director of Business Analysis and Planning at BeautyJungle.com, a provider of e-commerce offerings to the beauty industry. In this capacity, Craig developed business plans and pro forma financial models for business-to-consumer and business-to-business Internet strategies that resulted in over $23 million in venture funding. He developed and managed the annual budgeting process for all departments. In addition to assisting functional departments with budgeting, Craig also developed standard procedure manuals for the company, documenting and improving work processes for production, marketing, sales, distribution, procurement and finance. Finally, Craig analyzed proposed business development partnerships for profitability and NPV return on investment and provided approval/rejection recommendations to senior management.

Previously, Craig worked as a corporate location and economic development consultant at Fluor Daniel Consulting, directing teams in determining optimal business locations for expansions and relocations of Fortune 500 companies. Craig's consulting work at Fluor spanned a wide array of industries, including apparel, automotive manufacturing, biotechnology, chemicals, financial services, food, insurance, and pulp and paper. These engagements involved extensive analysis of freight and transportation networks to optimize distribution costs.

Craig holds an MBA degree with emphasis in finance, entrepreneurship and marketing from Yale University. He received a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Winthrop University.
