Craig opened one of the original Independent Operation Centers for Lender Ltd. and acted as its President from November of 97 until December of 2003. His IOC in all aspects was one of the most successful components of Lender and the one that has been replicated with the most success. Craig was appointed President of Lender in January of 2004 to help the other entities of Lender reach the same level of success that his IOC, Home Loan Specialists, had reached. Craig also works on the recruiting of future IOC’s of Lender, leads the implementation team when opening new IOC’s, as well as handling the day-to-day operations needs of the existing group. From 1997 -2004 Craig was the President of Home Loan Specialist, a division of Lender Ltd. Craig, along with his partners, opened and built up Home Loan Specialist to be a well-known Mortgage Banker in Southeast Michigan. They have closed over ½ billion in residential mortgages and built a sales force of over a dozen qualified Mortgage Originators in a short period of time. From 1991-1997 Craig served as Vice President of Mutual Financial Services. Mutual is a Mortgage Broker located in Southeast Michigan. While with Mutual Craig managed all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the company. His main focus was on Secondary Marketing and the support staff. From 1988 - 1991 Craig handled the hiring, training, and daily management of the sales force as the Production Manager for Mortgage Connection. From 1986- 1988 he held numerous support roles for Interfirst FSB. This was his first experience in the Real Estate Finance industry. Craig has a B.B.A from Western Michigan University where he graduated in 1986. His major was in finance with a minor in Marketing. Craig also founded an IT Support Company along with his partner, Jim Wickham, in 2001. In addition, Craig is involved in other Real Estate related projects in Northern Michigan. Hobbies include Hockey, Golf, Boating, Travel, and spending time with his family (Suzi- wife since 1993, Joey- born in 1995, Jessi- born in 1998) |
