Mr. Mezik is responsible for the financial and administrative functions of the company. Mr. Mezik reports directly to the CEO. Mr. Mezik joins Xceedium with two decades of financial management experience and leading financial operations at several companies. Prior to joining Xceedium, Mr. Mezik was the Chief Financial Officer at Ridge Manufacturing Corporation in Rockaway, NJ (2003 to 2006), a $10 million manufacturer of printed circuit boards, where he managed and performed all of the financial and administrative functions for the company. Mr. Mezik was successful in addressing and resolving significant issues confronting the company and refinanced the company s debt. From 2001 to 2002, Mr. Mezik was the Controller and Chief Financial Officer, at Wavexpress, Inc. in New York City. Mr. Mezik was responsible for all financial and administrative functions, and was successful in saving the company millions of dollars by re-negotiating the company s building lease and cutting expenditures. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Mezik was Vice President & Controller for Prism Communications, Inc. in New York City, a start-up CLEC and the first DSL provider in New York City. Mr. Mezik was successful at building all of the company s financial operations and processes, and was integral in growing the company s revenues from $0 to $5 million in two years. Mr. Mezik was with PSE&G Company in Newark, NJ, where he led a newly formed Management Reporting Group. Prior to PSE&G, Mr. Mezik spent the first 13 years of his career with AT&T Corporation, then in Morristown, NJ as an Assistant Controller, AT&T International Operations Division, where he was responsible for the accounting, financial reporting and analysis for the $2 billion division. Mr. Mezik earned a BS degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama in 1984, an MBA in Accounting and Taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and he received an Advanced Certificate in International Business from Seton Hall University. Mr. Mezik became a CPA in New Jersey in 1991 and was a Certified Internal Auditor and member of the Institute of Internal Auditors. |
