Craig Menear executive vice president Merchandising joined The Home Depot in 1997. His responsibilities include global sourcing vendor management merchandising services and all merchandising departments and strategy for The Home Depot. Craig is also responsible for HD Direct which offers customers expanded merchandise selection product and service information and extra time convenience through Web site and catalog shopping with fast and reliable home delivery.
Craig has 26 years of experience in the retail and hardware home improvement industry. Prior to his current assignment he held several positions of increasing responsibility at The Home Depot including senior merchandising vice president of Hardlines merchandising vice president of Hardware merchandising vice president of the Southwest Division and divisional merchandise manager of the Southwest Division. Prior to employment with The Home Depot Craig operated an independent business and held various merchandising positions within the retail industry. His previous assignments include Ikea Wholesale Inc. Builders Emporium Grace Home Centers and Montgomery Ward.
Craig is a native of Flint Michigan. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the Michigan State University College of Business. |
