Craig McDaniel is vice president of business administration for the Colorado Springs office of Sanborn.

Mr. McDaniel has 18 years of front-line management experience in the GIS industry with eight years of strategic planning and 12 years of experience managing conversion projects. He possesses first-hand field knowledge of every aspect of GIS conversion development, implementation, and management.

Mr. McDaniel has successfully maintained the 9002:1994 ISO Quality Management System for the Colorado Springs office and has led the successful transition from 9002:1994 to 9001:2000 certification. He is responsible for scheduling and overseeing the internal and external audits of the Quality Management System to ensure its effectiveness.

Prior to joining Sanborn, Mr. McDaniel was a senior project manager and director of contracts for the Colorado Springs office of Analytical Surveys, Inc., whose assets Sanborn has since acquired.

Mr. McDaniel holds a bachelor's degree in geography with a concentration in cartography and photogrammetry from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. He also possesses an ISO 9001:2001 Lead Auditor Certification from Cavendish Scott, Inc.
