Joined the law firm as an associate attorney in 1986 and was elected a Shareholder in 1995.
Serves as Chair of the Corporate Section of the Business Practice Group.
Previously served as Managing Partner of the Akron office.
Practice primarily involves day-to-day consultation to a variety of closely-held businesses of all sizes and their owners, including advice and recommended courses of action regarding such areas as start-up formations and choice of entity, family business ownership and succession planning, growth and acquisition strategies, sales of business, strategic and tax-free reorganizations and mergers, as well as a variety of other legal and business counseling to advance the client’s overall objectives and goals.
Experience in business acquisitions, mergers, divestitures and related areas. Has represented buyers and sellers in business sales/acquisition transactions valued in excess of $100M.
