Craig Brown joined the Firm in 1999 and is a Partner in the Transactional Department. He is also a member of the Real Estate Practice Group, the Restructuring and Workouts Practice Group, the Investment Funds Practice Group and the Hotels and Resorts Practice Group. Mr. Brown has extensive experience in all principal areas of real estate law and his practice at the Firm centers around the acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing of all types of real estate assets in jurisdictions throughout the country, as well as structuring complex real estate joint venture transactions. Mr. Brown has represented many prominent local and national developers, hotel operators, money center banks, insurance companies and opportunistic investment funds in real estate and corporate transactions and has developed significant expertise in the following areas: Acquiring, financing and equity structuring of all classes of office buildings, mixed-use office parks, hotels and full service resorts; Acquiring, financing and equity structuring of large portfolios of real estate assets in multiple jurisdictions, including motels, nursing homes and rehabilitation hospitals; Leasing all types of commercial, industrial and warehouse space, including headquarters leases for major international law firms, triple-net leasing of major Manhattan office buildings, office space leases and warehouse/distribution space leases. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Brown was an associate at Cahill, Gordon & Reindel, and at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson. Mr. Brown is admitted to practice law in New York. |
