Craig has over 30 years of information management experience including a broad background in strategy development and deployment of global solutions. His technical expertise includes enterprise-wide records management assessment application software design development and deployment network infrastructure upgrade hardware design and implementation plus multi-national data center implementation and operation.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Huron Craig served as a senior consultant at the Records Improvement Institute LLC where he led the electronic records management practice in the Eastern Region providing assessment policy procurement and implementation assistance. He also held executive positions as Chief Information Officer at Transnational Group responsible for its multi-national operations Chief Operating Officer for Northquest Telecommunications Canada's six largest long distance carrier and Vice President of information technology at USN Communications a leading U.S. provider. Craig in addition directed North American consulting services at three major global computer system manufacturers.
Representative examples of Craig's engagement experience include:
Managing an effort that established an electronic records management program for a multi-national financial services firm. The engagement included development of retention schedules for records in various formats on multiple media establishment of program infrastructure and records management strategy.
Identifying and documenting the requirements at a global energy services company and assisting the selection of email records management software and the implementation of practical records management policy practices and processes.
Providing assistance to corporations in many industries for requirements identification electronic record management software selection and implementation of lifecycle records management processes.
Assessing the needs and furnishing project management towards the development of unstructured records programs incorporating email end user storage and document/content/knowledge management systems at several multi-national organizations.
Defined and deployed the information system and technology strategy for a holding company and its operating entities at four locations in three cities on two continents.
