The Director of Portfolio Management coordinates the activities of the portfolio managers and the Department. Each portfolio manager has broad bottom line responsibility for driving the financial and operating performance of the individual properties within their portfolio. The portfolio managers develop and implement strategic operating plans (with the objective of maximizing property profit, cash flow and long term value), and generally oversee the operations within their portfolio of properties.
Following his graduation from Wharton in June 1986, Craig joined the Prudential Mortgage Capital Company where, over the next several years, he originated over $300 million in commercial real estate loans in the Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia markets. In 1991, he was named Director of Mortgage Asset Management for the firm's Mid-Atlantic office, where he had regional responsibility for loan rollovers and workouts. In 1993, Craig joined Coopers & Lybrand, where he oversaw the management, workout and liquidation of a $750 million real estate loan portfolio under a major RTC contract. Since joining the Company in 1994, Craig has continued to bring to the Company experience in financial analysis and management, with particular expertise in project valuation and decision modeling; commercial real estate lending analysis, structuring and practices; and project management and organization.
Craig graduated from The University of Pennsylvania in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He graduated from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1986 with an M.B.A. degree in Finance. |
