Craig Engel, senior vice president, works directly with campuses on the effective administration of their enrollment management programs. Offering over 20 years of hands-on experience in enrollment management, Mr. Engel’s career has focused exclusively on building, maintaining and shaping enrollments first on campuses, and now as a consultant.
Mr. Engel's areas of expertise include database and inquiry pool management, staff training and development, transfer and graduate/professional recruitment techniques, and strategic enrollment planning.
Mr. Engel has implemented successful strategies with more than 100 institutions, including four-year, two-year, public, private, liberal arts, graduate/professional, and vocational colleges. His clients have included institutions such as The Ohio State University, Florida State University, The University of Memphis (TN), The School of the Art Institute Chicago (IL), Harper Community College (IL), Western New England College School of Law (MA), The University at Albany (SUNY), Purchase College (SUNY), St. Ambrose University (IA), Loyola University Chicago (IL), Benedictine College (KS), and Mercer University (GA).
Previous campus experience
Prior to joining Noel-Levitz, Mr. Engel held campus-based positions for eight years, serving as dean of admissions and financial aid at Golden Gate University School of Law (CA) and in admissions posts at the University of Iowa and Cornell College (IA).
