Craig Dubow was elected Gannett’s chairman effective July 1 2006. He also continues as Gannett's president and CEO positions he has held since July 15 2005. He also became a member of the Board of Directors at that time. Dubow joined Gannett in 1981 in advertising sales for K*USA-TV in Denver. He held various positions at KVUE-TV in Austin TX and was named president and general manager in 1990. In 1992 he became president and general manager of Gannett’s NBC affiliate in Atlanta WXIA-TV. Dubow was executive vice president of Gannett Television from 1996-2000. He was named president of Gannett Broadcasting in 2000 adding CEO to his title in 2001. He was born on Oct. 26 1954.
Gannett’s principal management group is the Gannett Management Committee which coordinates overall management policies for the company. The Gannett Newspaper Operating Committee oversees operations of the company’s newspaper division.
