Courtney drives client programs and develops strategies for the company’s nonprofit, environmental and public sector practice group in Northern California. Her client experience includes the University of California, Berkeley; the Bay Area Air Quality Management District; the Goldman Environmental Prize and Foundation; the Skoll Foundation; ABB; TransFair USA and ZipCar, among others. She has a particular emphasis in social marketing. Courtney also oversees Allison University, the company’s professional development program. Prior to joining Allison & Partners, Courtney managed community relations for Women’s Initiative for Self Employment, where she developed and executed media and public outreach strategies. She began her public relations career at Ogilvy Public Relations in Denver, where she served clients in the technology sector. Prior to that, she taught English as a Second Language to executives and college students from around the globe at schools in Denver and Ecuador. Courtney holds a master's degree in Public Relations from the University of Denver, where she also taught mass communications courses and a bachelor's degree in English from UCLA. She is fluent in Spanish. |
