Courtney Amber Clark is an associate in Sherin and Lodgen LLP’s Litigation Department. She focuses her practice on business disputes, real estate litigation, and health care law. Her experience includes counseling, litigation, arbitration, and trial practice in state and federal courts on behalf of a variety of corporations and individuals. Courtney joined Sherin and Lodgen LLP in 2005, following three years in the Litigation Department of Goodwin Procter LLP in Boston.
Representative Matters
Currently representing drug manufacturers in lawsuits challenging drug pricing practices
Represented a home health care company in a contract and business tort dispute with a competitor.
Represented a medical device manufacturer in a contract enforcement arbitration.
Defended a power generating company in a construction dispute, resulting in a dismissal of all claims.
Represented pharmacies in state and federal product liability litigation.
Community Involvement
Courtney volunteers with the Community Music Center of Boston in the South End and chaired Sherin and Lodgen LLP’s participation in the Citizen Schools’ Legal Apprenticeship Program in 2007.
Pro Bono
Courtney represented an individual detained in the New Bedford, Massachusetts immigration enforcement action in March, 2007, obtaining a low bond for her client. She received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court for her work. Courtney also represented an attorney in a disciplinary proceeding at the Board of Bar Overseers.
