Cosmo Trapani was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2003. He has more than 30 years of financial management experience in high-technology and semiconductor-related companies. He served as vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of PRI Automation where he played a key role in the company's growth and subsequent acquisition by Brooks Automation. Prior to PRI Automation Trapani was senior vice president and CFO of Circor International having been instrumental in spinning off this business unit from Watts Industries. Earlier Trapani was executive vice president and CFO of Unitrode Corporation prior to which he served in a variety of senior-level financial management positions with firms such as Instron Corporation and Computervision Corporation. Currently Trapani is chief executive officer of CABE Ltd. (Center for Applied Business Ethics) a start-up joint venture that provides on-line education and consulting regarding business ethics. He also serves on the Board of Directors of CABE and Hittite Microwave Corporation a Chelmsford Massachusetts-based manufacturer of analog and digital ICs for the wireless and wired communications and sensor markets. |
