Mr. Youngberg graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Lewis and Clark College in Oregon. He then began his career in income tax accounting and subsequently earned a Masters Degree in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California.
Mr. Youngberg began his accounting career at Touche Ross, an international accounting firm, where he worked for six years before joining Lesley, Thomas, Schwarz & Postma, Inc. in 1986. In 1990 he was admitted as a tax partner at Lesley, Thomas, Schwarz & Postma, Inc.
As tax partner, Mr. Youngberg's expertise is in income tax planning and tax research on difficult issues. He is also the firm's authority on estate and gift tax planning, compliance, estate tax audits, and all related issues.
Mr. Youngberg uses his tax expertise and network of professionals to assist in business planning and restructuring to save clients tax dollars by providing a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach to their income tax and business planning.
Mr. Youngberg is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
