Corinne Kaplan is the Vice-President for Space within EADS North America. Kaplan, a senior executive with strong technical background, has more than 20 years of experience in leading European-based multinational teams in Space and Defense projects. Kaplan has acquired extensive knowledge of the U.S. space/defense industry as well as practice in government relations, procurement and export control.
Her responsibilities at EADS Space include providing support to EADS Space strategy definition and U.S. implementation and representing the EADS Space division in North America, Kaplan is also the lead of the procurement support team and provides U.S. regulatory operational support and guidance to EADS Space businesses for ITAR matters. She is an active member in several U.S. committees and organizations.
In 1999, after the merger of Matra Marconi Space and Daimler Chrysler Aerospace, Kaplan joined the newly named Astrium North America as the Director of Marketing, Procurement and Export Control. As Director, she incorporated Matra Marconi Space’s U.S. activities office, which she established in 1996, into Astrium North America’s framework.
Kaplan is also currently the Vice-President of Astrium North America and is a member of the Astrium North America Board of Directors. She is also the EADS North America representative on the Government Electronic and Information Technology Association’s G-12 Solid State Devices Committee.
Ms. Kaplan received a post-graduate degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Nancy and is a Magna cum laude graduate of Ecole Nationale d’Electricite et de Mecanique of Nancy, France. |
