As the TRS Director of Software Development, Corey is dedicated to changing the way people use technology. His core responsibilities are to assess, identify and develop cutting-edge software development solutions that enhance user experience and increase client productivity and implement best practices within the TRS community. Beyond these duties, Corey also provides architectural and software development expertise for several TRS clients. Corey joined TRS Consulting in 2007 after leaving DATA Inc where he served as a principal J2EE developer. He has over 12 years of experience designing, developing and deploying software solutions for the federal government. Since 1999, Corey has focused primarily on the Java programming stack, integrating a wide variety of off-the-shelf and open source technologies to successfully support high volume free text analysis, geographic information systems, content management systems, business process solutions, and highly available web applications. Corey is a firm believer in building quality software products that people will enjoy using for years to come. Before discovering his passion for information technology, Corey served six exciting years in the United States Marine Corps. Corey holds both a B.S. and a M.S. in Computer Science from George Mason University. His current interests include genetic algorithms, frameworks of all flavors and, of course, the Ruby programming language. |
