Conrad Lowry has served as chief financial officer and secretary since February 2005. From joining Salon in September 2000 until February 2005, he served as comptroller. From November 1999 to September 2000 he served as comptroller for Crescent Jewelers. From July 1998 to November 1999 he served as comptroller for New York Transit, Inc. From April 1997 to July 1998 he served as comptroller for Ariat International, Inc. From July 1987 to March 1997 he served as senior accountant and assistant comptroller finance for Fibreboard Corp. From June 1978 to July 1987 he held various positions with Louisiana-Pacific Corp. including accountant, senior accountant and chief accountant, a position he held for two years. Mr. Lowry holds bachelor of science degrees in forestry and business administration & accounting from Humboldt State University.
