Connie was raised in Mason City, Iowa and received her Registered Nursing Associate Degree from North Iowa Area Community College. After working for several years as an RN and starting a family, she returned to complete her Bachelors Degree in Nursing, graduating with honors from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, Minnesota. She completed her Master's Degree in nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 1996 and is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (RN, CS, FNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center of the American Nurses Association.
Connie joined the Alexandria Clinic in 1990 as the clinical supervisor and since certification as an FNP has been providing care in the Urgent Care department of the clinic as well as through scheduled appointments. She has special interest and background in the health care of children. Connie and her husband Jim have adult children, a daughter and a married son. She enjoys all summer outdoor activities, as well as quilting and reading. |
