Connie is a paralegal at Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A., in the area of litigation and workers’ compensation. Her responsibilities include assisting employers in the defense of workers’ compensation claims.
Connie has a wealth of experience in workers’ compensation law and workers’ compensation programming for employers. She is responsible for maintaining personal contact with the clients and their third party administrators to assist in the daily management of their workers’ compensation claims.
Connie has hands on experience with the defense of claims at the administrative level for both state-funded and self-insured employers, including permanent total disability claims, violation of specific safety requirement claims, and voluminous asbestos claims, as well as court appeals, mandamus actions, and appeals to the Supreme Court and intentional tort actions. Connie is responsible for establishing, docketing and managing pertinent due dates; drafting pleadings, independent medical examination letters, violation of specific safety requirement answers; and preparing files for hearing and/or trial by using available resources such as electronic research, and medical records reviews.
The Canton native has over 20 years experience as a paralegal; she is a Notary Public for the State of Ohio, is a member of the Stark County. and the Ohio State Bar Associations.
Connie is very active in the community. She is a member of the Women’s International Bowling Congress (1978-2006), is a member of the Central Catholic High School Alumni, is a member of Lady Lions Club of Massillon and participates in the Junior Achievement Pilot Teaching Program. She is a past member of the Stark County Golf Charities Ohio Open Committee, and is a member of the Women’s Akron District Golf Association. She is also a member and past chair of the Glenmoor Country Club Women’s Golf Association. In addition, she is the Past Chair of the Annual Buckeye Council Boy Scout Golf Classic Auction Committee, and is past member of the “Fore the Cure” Stark County Golf Classic Executive Committee.
Connie and her husband, Robert, reside in Jackson Township and have two adult children. |
