Collette Garrity consults for Noel-Levitz from her position as vice president for graduate and extended studies at the College of St. Scholastica (MN). An entrepreneurial leader, she offers 20 years of experience in higher education, with success in strategic planning, enrollment management, new program development, and establishing programs for adult and nontraditional students. At St. Scholastica, Dr. Garrity oversees all extended programs as well as the graduate programs. She has focused on improving the quality in these program areas, as well as developing new degrees, certificates, and training opportunities. Under her leadership, the college’s Accelerated Degree Evening Program grew from 75 students in 2001 to a current enrollment of 700 students. Prior to coming to St. Scholastica, she served as regional president for National American University. She oversaw construction of two new campuses and directed the operations of three campuses in the St. Paul, Minnesota area. She had full profit and loss responsibility for the campuses, directed a staff of 60 people, and helped create online courses, student orientations, and effective assessment methods. Dr. Garrity has also served as an independent consultant to colleges with adult programs, including Nebraska Wesleyan College and Barton College (NC).
