Colleen Murphy offers nearly 20 years of experience in higher education, marketing, and advertising. She consults for Noel-Levitz from her position as vice president for enrollment and marketing at Harper College (IL). At Harper College a major community college serving more than 40,000 students Ms. Murphy oversees marketing services, admissions, registration, financial aid, and business outreach organizations. She manages the college’s integrated marketing communications efforts, including electronic, print, radio, and broadcast marketing. Under her leadership in enrollment management and marketing, the college increased enrollment by 25 percent in five years and contract training revenue by 171 percent.
Prior to her position at Harper College, Ms. Murphy was director for planning and marketing at Aydlotte & Cartwright, a marketing agency serving the healthcare and higher education industries. While there, her campus projects including a major branding initiative for the University of Cincinnati and producing direct mail and collateral pieces for the University of Virginia Medical Center. She has also served as director of marketing at The Carle Foundation, a marketing agency, and oversaw marketing projects for the Southern Illinois School of Medicine.
