Colleen is ACS' Managing Director of Compliance. As a lawyer and former government regulator, she draws upon her considerable experience to ensure that the ACS system reflects the most recent changes in securities law and policy and contains up to date best practices. She assists clients in developing and effectively implementing specific compliance processes tailored to their needs and operations into the ACS system. Prior to joining ACS, Colleen served as legal counsel with Cohen & Fierman, LLP where she advised regional businesses on compliance and corporate governance issues. Prior to that, she was with the Federal Trade Commission for eight years enforcing consumer protection and antitrust laws. In this role, she initiated and conducted investigations of suspect new marketing trends and participated in national sweeps. She focused on and developed an expertise in advertising and privacy laws. She attended Stonehill College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Modern Languages. She received her Juris Doctorate from Boston College Law School. |
