Colleen Johnston was appointed to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, TD Bank Financial Group in November 2005. In this position she has primary responsibility for all aspects of external and regulatory financial reporting, internal performance measurement and optimization including capital allocation, investor and rating agency relations, interest and liquidity risk management, and tax management.
Prior to joining TD Bank Financial Group in 2004 as Executive Vice President, Finance Operations, Colleen spent 15 years with Scotiabank, where she served as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer for Scotia Capital, Vice President, Domestic Comptroller for Scotiabank, and Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Scotiatrust. She began her career in finance in 1982 with Price Waterhouse.
Colleen graduated from York University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and she received her Chartered Accountant designation in 1984.
She served as the Chair of the Bridgepoint Health Board of Directors from 2002 to 2005, and currently remains on the Board.
Born in Vancouver, Colleen currently resides in Toronto with her husband and two daughters. |
