Colin has more than 17 years of operational and venture investment experience. A General Partner at Worldview Technology Partners, Colin focuses on investments associated with data center infrastructure and enterprise applications. Colin joined Worldview from Norwest Venture Partners, where he worked closely with several high-profile startup companies including Octane Software (acquired by E.Piphany), SeeBeyond (Nasdaq: SBYN), Acta Technologies (acquired by Business Objects), Annuncio Software (acquired by Peoplesoft), eForce and Ventaso. Prior to Norwest, Colin was a Vice President with Oracle Corporation where he was responsible for strategy, business development, marketing and operations for the worldwide consumer sector vertical business unit. Previously, Colin worked for Booz-Allen & Hamilton as a management consultant. Prior to attending business school, Colin worked for several years as a sales representative and systems engineer within IBM. Colin holds a M.B.A. from Stanford University and a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Colin currently sits on the Boards of Directors of Purisma, Azul, Reactrix, nSite, Onstor, and Butterfly.net. |
