Colin Reid , joins Utix as EVP of Business Development. His is directing the Utix initiative to identify new initiatives and products for Utix by leveraging the company’s licensing and patented ticket management payment platform.
The Utix patented platform allows for the creation of unique cutting edge ticket solutions for corporate clients, marketing organizations and their agencies. After years of development the platform has the proven capability to deliver programs and communication opportunities to clients that they cannot leverage with traditional stored value or promo card solutions.
Prior to Utix Reid founded Great American Days an experiential gift company that opened the sector in the US and became the number one brand in the space. Reid developed sector leading online marketing and advertising programs and set up sales contracts with market leading clients such as MasterCard, Ford and Orbitz, in addition to large incentive companies such as Carlson and Maritz. He also oversaw successful marketing and PR programs resulting in coverage of the company in top tier media, and in 2005, pioneered the sector into retail. Reid served as CEO before selling the company to the Australasian firm Total Experience.
A native of Ireland, Reid holds a BEng (Hons) in Chemical and Minerals Engineering and Marketing Masters qualifications. After leaving college he played rugby professionally in the UK and is now a nationally ranked referee in the US. He is married with two children. |
