Clyde N. Baker, Jr., P.E., Senior Principal, received the 2006 Award of Honor from the Chicago Building Congress (CBC). The Award of Honor has been presented annually since 1995 and recognizes an outstanding leader for major contributions to the Chicago building industry. Baker has served as geotechnical engineer or consultant on seven of the 16 tallest buildings in the world, including the three tallest buildings in Chicago - the Sears Tower, Aon Center and John Hancock Center; and the tallest buildings in the world - Taipei 101, in Taiwan and the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. |
