Clifford A. Ehrlich is currently the Company’s Executive Vice President and General Manager. From 1981 through 1996 Mr. Ehrlich served as Vice President of the Pines Resort Hotel and Conference Center. In the 1990’s he led the effort to legalize gaming in New York State. In 1994 Mr. Ehrlich was one of the first to develop the concept of off-reservation Native American Gaming later teaming up with the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe. In 1996 he became a partner in Catskill Development LLC a real estate development company which has evolved into what Empire Resorts Inc. is today. He was instrumental in getting the two-part determination approval for a Native American Casino at Monticello Raceway. He was President of Monticello Raceway from 1996 to 2004 and from 2004 to 2007 he worked as Senior Vice President of Operations at Monticello Gaming & Raceway. Mr. Ehrlich’s education includes a B.S. in Business from Colorado University and is currently a board member on the Sullivan County Tourism Advisory Board and past President of Catskill Resort Association. |
