Cliff Thrasher is Executive Vice President, CFO and Treasurer for Georgia Power. In his current role, Cliff has responsibility for Georgia Power’s accounting and financial activities and structure. Cliff was born in Atlanta in 1950. He grew up in East Point and graduated from Headland High School in 1968. He received an Associate of Science degree from Kennesaw Junior College in 1970. Cliff has over 30 years of experience with Southern Company and its affiliates. He began his career with Georgia Power Company in 1970 as an accounting clerk in the Invoice Accounting department. In 1974, he became responsible for maintaining the general ledger and preparing financial statements. From 1979 to 1985, he served as Accounting Research Manager. In 1985, Cliff became Manager of Cost Accounting and Accounting Research. |
