REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE Represented company in theft of computer data and company trade secrets securing permanent injunction against former employees and competing business. Represented the largest secured creditor in simultaneous multi-district, multi-state, federal and state court litigation involving the Angel Fire Ski Resort, obtaining a state court receivership and completing a Plan of Reorganization in U.S. Bankruptcy Court permitting the sale of the resort from which the client received the single largest payment and an originally targeted recovery of $6 million. Successfully defended a corporate officer and director against $25 million insider manipulation claims of breach of fiduciary duty and fraud in a bond trading case. Represented joint venture partner in the first Texas Chapter 9 municipal utility district bankruptcy, and successfully defended $35 million deceptive trade practices claims by the MUD homeowners. Successfully defended apartment complex owners' premises liability claim for failure to provide adequate security and DTPA claims of rape and assault.
