Cleo V. Belmonte joined Hughes Network Systems in January 2007 as Senior Counsel, Securities. Ms. Belmonte has served as the Assistant Secretary of Hughes Communications, Inc. since March 2007. Ms. Belmonte is responsible for all matters related to the company’s compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission and NASDAQ rules and regulations as well as general corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining HUGHES®, Ms. Belmonte was an associate with the law firms of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP and Patton Boggs LLP where she practiced securities and general corporate law. Ms. Belmonte has a Bachelor of Science in Multinational Business Operations, Marketing and Business Administration from Florida State University. She received a Juris Doctorate degree from the Georgetown University Law Center. |
