Claus A. Faber of Oberndorf-Lindenhof, Germany, was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of The International Association of Lions Clubs at the association’s 88th International Convention held in Hong Kong, June 27-July 1, 2005.
Director Faber is a managing director.
A Lion since 1976 and a member of the Rottweil Lions Club, Director Faber has held many offices within the association, including club president, club secretary, bulletin editor, council chairperson, three-time district governor and commission chairperson of the 1994 Europa Forum.
In recognition of his service to the association, he has received numerous awards, including the Deputy District Governor’s Award, three District Chairperson’s Awards, three Governor Appreciation Awards, a 100% Club President Award, two 100% District Governor Awards, District Governor Excellence Award, Extension Award, three Governor Extension Awards, Guiding Lion Award, Leadership Award, International President’s Award and President’s Certificate of Appreciation. Director Faber is an honorary member of the Donaueschingen Lions Club and is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
Director Faber and his wife, Rena, have two children. |
