Claudia Kilbreath acts as a mediator in employment litigation and provides legal advice to both public and private employers and individuals in a wide range of employment-related matters, including employment counseling, transactional work, and litigation.
She advises employers on the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Washington Laws Against Discrimination, employee benefits, wage and hour, and Title VII discrimination.
She also frequently trains management on employment laws, investigates complaints of workplace harassment and discrimination, and prepares employment contracts including non-competition, non-solicitation, and confidentiality agreements.
Her employment litigation practice includes representation of employers in discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, wage and hour, breach of trade secrets/non-competition agreements, grievance labor arbitrations, and other employment-related lawsuits.
