Biography
Clatus B. Bierman joined Kemper CPA Group LLP's Harrisburg, Illinois office as a staff accountant in December 1992. In June of 1996, he was given the opportunity and transferred to the Marion, Illinois office of Kemper CPA Group LLP. Mr. Bierman was promoted to principal of the Marion office in May 1997. While working at Kemper CPA Group, he successfully prepared himself for and completed the CPA examination in November 2000. He was subsequently admitted into the partnership in 2002.
Working for Kemper CPA Group LLP has allowed Mr. Bierman to obtain experience in preparing individual, partnership, corporate, fiduciary and estate tax returns. However, many of his duties have included acting as auditor, supervisor and reviewer for numerous audits for small businesses, financial institutions, and not-for-profit organizations. Additionally, he has extended his auditing experience through work with governmental entities, including financial and compliance audits for various State of Illinois offices. Mr. Bierman expects to begin specializing in asset management and estate planning including obtaining the Certified Financial Planner designation.
Mr. Bierman graduated Cum Laude from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a bachelor of science degree in accounting in 1992.
