Bio: Sister Clare Smith, RSM, a member of the Sisters of Mercy of Pittsburgh, PA, has taught French, Spanish, Latin and English during her eight years of teaching. Prior to joining the faculty of Saint Meinrad College, and then the School of Theology, she taught mainly in high schools in the Dioceses of Pittsburgh and San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is currently director of the Mader Learning Center and teaches English, Latin and French in the School of Theology. She is a member of TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages), and of ACTFL (American Council of Teachers of Foreign Languages). |
