Claire Kummer is executive vice president, Operations, Integration & Manufacturing, responsible for Arbitron’s data collection and data processing functions. Claire also serves as the executive champion for Arbitron’s corporate quality initiatives.
Prior to this assignment, Claire was vice president, Strategy and Project Management, from 1994 to 1997. In this role, she was responsible for facilitating strategic and functional planning.
Over her 31-year career with Arbitron, Claire has served the company in many other roles, including vice president, Research and Technology; vice president, Strategy and Project Planning; Radio Product manager; Television Technical Services manager; Television Product manager; and manager, Special Television Services.
Claire is a member of the National Council for the School of Media and Public Affairs, The George Washington University. She is also the founder and executive director of The Melissa Foundation Inc., a private charitable organization. A graduate of The George Washington University, Claire holds a B.S. degree in economics.
