Claire Gagnon is an associate in Leonard, Street and Deinard’s Specialty Litigation department. Claire is the author of Iowa’s Closing Argument Conundrum: A Liar by Any Other Name?”, which was published in the Spring 2007 issue of the Drake Law Review. Her note was nominated as one of the 2006-2007 “Outstanding Student Notes. Prior to joining the firm, Claire served as a summer associate for Leonard, Street and Deinard and clerked for the Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office.
During law school, Claire served as a research assistant and received a CALI Award for excellence in the study of torts, criminal law, employment discrimination, ethics, civil procedure, state and local government and legal research and writing. Claire was the recipient of the Timothy N. Carlucci award, presented to the student who best exemplifies civility and professionalism in her dealings with others in her profession.
