Cindy Padnos is a director with Outlook Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm. Her experience and focus encompasses the software, technology-enabled services, mobile and Internet/Web 2.0 sectors. Immediately prior to joining Outlook, Ms. Padnos was a venture consultant working with top-tier venture capital firms. Before that she gained almost 20 years of operational experience including as the founder and CEO of on-demand services procurement software company Vivant Corporation and as president and CEO of Acumen, a privately held performance management software company. Ms. Padnos has also held sales and marketing management positions in several technology companies including vice president of marketing at Scopus Technology (an early CRM company that was later acquired by Siebel) where she positioned the company for an IPO; marketing director at software tools vendor IDE and database provider Ingres and in sales management at AT&T. Ms. Padnos earned her bachelor of arts, magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan and received her masters in business administration/masters of science in industrial administration with honors from Carnegie-Mellon University's Tepper School of Business. She serves on the board of advisors for the Tepper School of Business and for the Women's Technology Cluster. |
