Cindy McGill serves as Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Strategy. In this role, she is responsible for Governmental Affairs, Community Relations, Federal Affairs, Economic Development and Environmental Sustainability. McGill is also responsible for leading the development of strategic plans for PNM Resources.
McGill joined PNM in 1981 as Supervisor in the Accounting Department. She spent 19 years in PNM’s Regulatory Policy Department, developing strategy and policy and negotiating settlements to regulatory cases. She most recently served as Vice President for Corporate Strategy and Development and also served as Vice President of Customer and Market Services, overseeing all customer contact activities, the company’s call center, market research, commercial customer support, and PNM’s electric and gas pricing departments.
