Dr. Cindy L. Skaruppa consults for Noel-Levitz from her position as vice president for enrollment services at Brewton Parker College (GA). She offers 15 years of experience in higher education, serving in both administrative and faculty positions. Dr. Skaruppa helps campuses overcome enrollment management challenges. She has extensive experience in student retention, as well as student marketing and recruitment, especially for graduate and adult students. Recently, she worked directly with McNeese State University (LA), the College of St. Scholastica (MN), and the University of Montana-Helena College of Technology.
Previously, Dr. Skaruppa served associate provost of student services at Our Lady of the Lake University (TX) and, prior to that, dean of the College of Professional, Adult and Continuing Education at Lynn University (FL). At Lynn University, she was responsible for all evening, weekend, and off-campus program operations. Dr. Skaruppa also coordinated program operations, student recruitment, faculty and student orientations, student advising, curricular development, program evaluation, and budgeting. She developed off-campus cohorts with 90 percent retention rates. When she was dean of academic support services, she implemented a process that reduced the number of students on academic probation by 24 percent in two semesters. She was also a full professor in the college of education and has held faculty positions at Barry University (FL) and Florida International University.
Education: Dr. Skaruppa received an Ed.D. in educational leadership from the University of Miami (FL). |
