Dr. Ewell earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2004 and is currently licensed to practice law in the state of Texas. Dr. Ewell comes to CytoGenix with several years of law firm and intellectual property experience including patent prosecution and freedom to operate analysis. Dr. Ewell received a B.S. in Microbiology from Cornell University in 1980, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 1990. Dr. Ewell completed post-doctoral training at Baylor College of Medicine in the Department of Cell Biology. Dr. Ewell's combined training as a scientist, an attorney, and as an intellectual property advisor makes her a valuable asset for transforming the cutting-edge science developed by the scientists at CytoGenix into useful and valuable business assets. |
