Chung joined SensorTran in 2004 to manage the Company’s R&D and production of its hardware products. For the past 25 years, Chung has been involved in R&D and production of high powered lasers, and other fiber-optic devices used in sensing, signal processing, and optical communications. He was employed with Samsung Electronics from 1975 - 1981, Texas A&M University from 1988 - 1994 and Fiber Dynamics Inc from 1994 - 2004. Chung earned a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University and an M.S. from the University of Texas at Austin, both in Electrical Engineering. He has authored 55 journal and conference articles, holds five U.S. patents and one NASA Innovation Award. |
